Among them, "transforming and upgrading a number of traditional majors in metallurgy, medicine, building materials, light textile and other fields" has become one of the key tasks.

The Implementation Plan also proposes that by 2025, the number of national pilot cities for the integration of industry and education will reach about 50, the breakthrough and leading role of pilot cities will be given full play, more than 10,000 enterprises for the integration of industry and education will be cultivated nationwide, the system of enterprises for the integration of industry and education and the combined incentive policy system will be improved, the investment in vocational education from various funding channels will be steadily increased, and the needs of industry will be better integrated into the training of talents. The development pattern of education and industry integration and positive interaction will gradually be formed.　　

In deepening the cooperation between schools and enterprises in the integration of industry and education, optimising the cooperation model of the integration of industry and education, and cultivating suitable talents for the high-quality development of the textile industry, the "Implementation Plan" gives clear guidelines for action. The development of the integration of industry and education in the textile industry has ushered in new opportunities.

The "Implementation Plan" proposes to strengthen the foundation for the development of vocational colleges and universities, improve the professional settings of vocational education, encourage and guide vocational colleges and universities to give priority to the development of a number of emerging professions needed by advanced manufacturing and other industries, renovate and upgrade a number of traditional professions in metallurgy, medicine, building materials, light textiles and other fields, withdraw and eliminate professions with excess supply, low employment rates and disappearing career positions, and encourage schools to open more shortage and meet market demand The university will also encourage schools to offer more majors that are in short supply and meet market demand, and form a system of majors that is closely aligned with the industrial and innovation chains. The construction of practical training bases for the integration of industry and education will radiate the textile industry for practical training, staff training, product pilot testing, process improvement and technology research and development.
